Dreams, Visions & Imaginations Was preparing B20 CG sermon, when I chanced upon notes that I've taken long ago on 25th Nov 2006. That day, Pst How preached about "Dreams, Visions & Imaginations". I remembered Pst How sharing with us about how we do not only pray about what we want to be, but we must be able to see it in our mind as we pray. As en enthusiastic student of SOW (then), I told God that I want to be a CG guitarist! As I prayed, God showed me a vision.. It was in the auditorium of FTMS House. There was B2, sitting in a circle, a CG setting. I was there, but I wasn't playing the guitar, I was preaching the Word of God. After God gave me that vision, I was literally stunned. At that time I just started becoming a leader in church, and my team was just me, myself & I. I was shocked, and told myself that dream was too big to achieve. How can I even dream of becoming a CGL?? I kept that vision to myself, and soon forgot about it. 2 years later in 2008, God reminded my of that vision. I was quite shocked, so I totally forgotten about it. But yet, it made me so happy, because even 2 years ago, God already knew where I was going to, what I was going to do. I've learnt, that no matter what happens, just trust in God and His words. It may be difficult to achieve but hey, God never lie. If He says it's going to happen, then I guess any amount of disbelief won't undo any of it. So smile, have faith, believe in yourself, and most importantly, believe in Him (: |
