Building the house on the inside it's time for another update! okay, so there's no e-learning week. josef cheated our feelings man. and we found out there's HOME-BASED LEARNING next week. only difference is that it's home-based learning DAY, not WEEK. there's a difference of 4 days, 3 if you exclude youth day. so horrible school. recently learning i've been learning so much.. be it spiritual principles from Pastors, leadership skills from Charleston, Dominic's teaching on wisdom, the way Ivan look at things, and of course God's discipleship.. felt like past one month I was built on the inside, the foundation. now it's the whole substance of the house coming together, the walls, windows, doors.. everything. and this house is for God to live in (: oh btw, my braces are YELLOW now just that my brackets are so small when you see them you would think got siew mai skin stuck onto it oh well. sinfei and i had a great time with li xing yesterday! while both of us were waiting for discipleship classes to end so we could say bye to Pastors, Charleston and Ivan, lixing shared with us his testimony full of God's revelation and presence it was powerful i wonder what would he be like now if he's not saved? should be quite horrible i guess.. haha okay, i think i got to sleep soon, eye bags as big as grapes alr. goodnight (: Saturday, June 28, 2008 @ 5:03 AM
5am! It's 5am now! Clear & distinct difference between school exams and church homework. 1 gets you tired once you start, the other gets you more awake as you do more. As I do and do and do, reading the Bible.. All these verses jump out at me and I got a triple-mention. Initially I flipped the pages, then God said "Flip back." Obey I did, and that verse jumped out at me.. And that was my second-mention only.. Amazing God. I salute you with utmost honour! Despite the exuberant energry bursting forth from the core of my body, alas, I have to go to the comfy bed just behind me. Favour with aunty I was talking to someone on MSN about favour with men.. Then I remembered what I wanted to blog already! Lol. Remember the bee hoon aunty from about 2 months ago? She gave me discount but didnt give DHM.. Well, history repeated and this time it's not the bee hoon aunty, it's the DRINK STALL AUNTY. HAHA! I saw DHM drinking soya bean. I got tempted and I was like, "Wait awhile ah, I go buy drink also." Went there, told drink stall aunty what I wanted, was about to take out money then... "Girl ah, no need to pay lah!" "Huh aunty? Really no need ah?" "Haha, no need lah, I'm closing stall anyway!" Super happy cos I saved $0.40. HAHA! So I went over to DHM... "Eh, did the aunty collect money from you?" "Of cos lah! Why leh?" I'm freeeeeee! After exams today first thing I did was sms Ivan. "Ivan I'm freeeeeeeee!" Then he replied me the lyrics of Free chorus. The one that goes, "If I have wings I would fly..." And I was still thinking what why Ivan talking about flying. Hahahah! This week passed super fast! Faster than June hols. Okay this dont make sense cos June hols is one month so of cos faster.. But June was a month of fun, this week had been 4 days of misery. And time pass so much faster when you're having fun.. Funny Mr Josef Here are my grades for Midyears. B4 - GP B - Maths C - Chem C - Econs D - Geog It will be like that cos I prayed for it to be like that today morning. Hahaha. Reading Jordan's post about 1st day of school inspired me to do so. Firstly, I WOKE UP AT 10am Exams started at 2pm. Let's not talk about that. When the exams ended, al of us were quiet. Mr Josef: "You guys are the best batch ever. So quiet. Remain so beautiful when the papers are being collected." -Started collecting papers- Someone: "OMG!" Mr Josef: "Do not say OMG. It is disrespectful to believers." (Such a nice guy, I wonder if he's Christian.) -Class became super noisy- Mr Josef: "To think I was apologetic about the paper starting late (10mins). I take it all back. You guys are not beautiful. You ugly, fat people." (In joking tone of course, it was super funny.) -Announced that next week was e-learning week aka NO SCHOOL- Us: YEAH! Mr Josef: "Hello, it's e-learning week, not e-have fun week. It's the first time I see people so happy after exams. You ugly people." -Explains e-learning system- Mr Josef: "Okay for the geog tutorial, we'll use an army term. OTOT. Own time own target. (Suddenly whole LT quietens down.) Mr Josef: "Woah, I see that you guys are very impressed with my army term." HAHAH! He is such a funny guy I tell you! He speaks Chinese like English. Even Mr Najip can speak better Chinese than him! Lol. I had an interesting revelation today when reading my Bible before leaving the house. Proverbs 14: 30 30 A sound heart is life to the body, But envy is rottenness to the bones. Rotten ehhhh! Not even like, reduced faith or something. It's a rotten bone. When your bones are rotten, well it will somehow lose its "stability", your bones are weaker, your body's not that strong. When you got envy, your spiritual life spirals down, your character's not that strong. I've tried it before, it's really a scary monster. Okay, I'm off to do my workplan now! Byebye. I see my family S-A-V-E-D! It's funny how you always get hungry at 2am. Okay maybe only me. Hahaha. I'm taking a break from all the mugging. Studied a lot, but felt like nothing's retained in my brains! Today's praise song was just right for me. Help me Help me Help me All I need is You! Hahahaha! Pearlene just smsed me 1 hour ago saying that she can't fall asleep. Too excited that school starts tmr. Haha, I think I would just KO on my bed later. Great service last weekend! A new dimension added on, woo-hoo! hoGc, we either don't do it, or be the best at what we do. I have faith that my whole family would be saved, and not only that, but all planted in the same church! Justin's saved - 1 down, 2 to go. And my mum, aiyah, she's just this close cannnnn. Give me 2 months! Or maybe even lesser that. What Darryl Seah said during the meeting was right. I just need to pray that on weekends when Justin and I are in church, she would feel so bored at home that she would have nowhere to go but follow us to church! How cool is that. My dad... Maybe a few more months, haha. But I believe God's doing something in his heart right now. I can just feel it in my spirit! After a few months, he'll D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y get planted, IN HEART OF GOD CHURCH :D YES. Okay, I feel faith-filled towards my exams tmr. Convictions Ah... Just sent an email to Ivan and it felt good. It's always great to send your leaders an email, sharing with them what you're thinking. I shall not blog about the email anymore as it's private & strictly confidential! Haha Today is officially named Mugging Day. From 11am - 6.30pm! Felt quite proud of myself. Seriously I wasn't distracted nor took a break. Not until Eeloo came and sat next to me. From then on I lost my focus, a little. Haha. Few days ago I had an interesting msn convo with a friend.. And I thought of Ivan's post - Culture VS Convictions. When circumstances around you change, would your stand remain the same, or would it change together with your surroundings? I think it's so important that you stick to your convictions. If someone challenged mine, I would definitely fight back. It's what I believe in, what I live for. My friend may come up with 1001 reasons to convince me, but he'll never succeed. No matter how "unreal" he says my conviction is, well, it's mine and he can never do anything to it. The only people that can change the way I think would be God, Pastors and my leaders. These people are responsible for my life. If I don't listen to them, then who else can I listen to? Stick true to your convictions. It will determine your life. Btw.. PASTORS ARE BACK!! Not to mention Rinnah too! Hahaa. It was weird going to Admin Ofc everytime I reach/leave church, and there's no one for me to wave to. And no Rinnah just being everywhere! My brain needs a break! I had a super productive day today. Studied like siao from 10.30am onwards.. And I just covered HALF of physical geog, and physical geog is only HALF of my geog syllabus. = I only covered a quarter!! Nvm here's my brilliant plan. Tmr morning reach SingPost by 9.45am. Finish up all my geog tmr!! During chem tuition, crash course chem. After that continue with geog. FINISH GEOG BEFORE CG. Then on Friday, start econs and maths! During Maths tuition crash course also!! TA-DA!! COMPLETED STUDYING!! HAHAHA. Btw, my maths tutor super funny one. He's Teh Wen Jun Lao Shi. His brains work like don't know what, keep skipping steps, then me and Sinfei blur. Haha. But he's a great teacher!! :D Okay now I'm thinking if I should carry on studying or give my brain a break. Pepsi Cola Challenge Updates Okay today was a super super fun dayyy manxzxzxzzxzxz. Obviously the highlights today was the Pepsi Cola Challenge. Which we played hurriedly before we left the beach. OKAY SO WE PLAYED ONLY 3 GAMES. And Jordan won me 3-0. I hearby declare that JORDAN TNG WON ME!!! (Haha, Jordan, happy?) BUT! Failure is the mother of success! I will win you again, someday. SENTOSA TMR!!! Hanwei: How's all mannn Nadine: Great! Hanwei: First time people in JC tell me life's great Nadine: Cos I have God, and they don't. Haha. Hanwei: Haha I see.. No wonder... -End of conversation- Well it really is true what. Alexia also asked me, "Oh your exams next week how come I don't see you studying yet?" Well I just have this assurance that I will study finish, and I will do well. Cos there's God inside of me. People pray deperately for divine intervention during exams. I just ask the Holy Spirit inside of me, "Eh, how to do ah?" Hahaha! Today was great hanging out with Ivan, Sinfei, Chew, Nick, Jordan, Lixing. Sinfei and I were studying at Mos Burger (supposedly), and they all came to look for us. Spent like 4 hours there, and went to have dinner. So we went to check out Seafood Harvest. And this is what happened... Ivan: Eh this one not nice sia! (Realised staff are looking at him.) Ivan: That one also not nice, that one also not nice! Jordan: (whispers) Ivan! The staff are looking at you! Ivan: Yeah that's why I say all the other restaurants not nice also! HAHAHA. LAUGHED LIKE SIAO. After dinner we walked to eat Rochor tau hueyyyyy. Laughed and joked a lot. Then we walked down to Cathay. And home sweet home. Oh, and Cheryl's handphone got a duper nice game. Made my hp game look like some childish popper game, hahaha. SENTOSA TMR AND IM EXCITED! :D Cheryl and I were sharing with each other what God spoke to us the past year, and how it's all coming to past. Up, up, and away! WOOHOO, TODAY WAS AWESOMEEEEEEEE! Firstly meeting with Ivan.. Well actually b4's meeting and Sinfei & I kinda sit in. It was laughing throughout (most of the time), and I can't even remember what... Only thing I remember is we were laughing about Jordan. When he is 26 years old... Hahahahahaha. Lunch with B2 was coolioooo! Somehow B2's pre-YA and its actual attendance never seem to match. It always seems to multiply. Somehow someone will pop up, suddenly there's more new friends.. I'm not complaining! I love it! PASTOR JOAKIMMMM. He's really like our associate Pastor man, such a connectedness with him! He gave us a word, and the presence was so so so so so so strong!!! People got prayed for and I know... It's gonna be even better! Increase in wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and capacity! (: And I really love hanging out with Ivan! You feel so at ease, you can just share things. Me, Cheryl Chan HM, Fedora, Weiling, Chew. We were just sharing what we've been through, and Ivan was sharing with us things. That mutual trust is great. We trust each other so much we can just openly share our feelings & discipleships. Ivan can just share with us things from his heart. No hiding, or complications. LOVING LIFE! It's time to update my blog, haha. I made a really great friend today.. And her name is LAI WEI SHAN! From the surname LAI, you can infer that she's LAI SINFEI's cousin. Hahaha She's really monstrous I tell you, with never-ending source of energy. But admist all the monsterness, I see innocence and simplicity. I pray that she finds something in our church, and stay on, and bring revival to the Lai family (: We had prayer meeting and it was pure awesomeness. Actually needed to leave at 8.30pm but I just couldn't leave mannnnn. I JUST HAD TO STAY ONNNNN! As we were praying, the presence of God was so thick. The song we used to worshipped, no lyrics, didn't know how to sing, but you could feel God coming. As Ivan started to ask us to see our future church, we all began to envision. I saw a glass dome. The auditorium had ceiling to floor glass windows, it was curved. People worshipping, great presence of God filling the whole congregation. Then God brought me to the 1st floor. It looked just like a hotel lobby man. The recept area was not a small table, but super longgggggg table. It was posh, and yet funky. Then He led me to an escalator. I went to the basement... FOOD GALORE! Looked like shopping centre man. I was amazed. What a great church. And then God spoke something, "You are going to make it happen." I was blown away. Amazed by the vision, but even more amazed by that simple statement. Then Ivan started praying, how the anointing of God would pour over our lives. And I remembered last year, during a girls' leaders meeting with Pst Lia, I had a vision of a jug. I forgotten all about it, and God brought it up again yesterday. It was like telling me how the anointing of God would pour over me. My skin tingled when I thought of that. Such a powerful prayer meeting. Now you know why I can't leave early! Hahaa Last mention of the day - PEARLENE LOH! She's an awesome woman. What would I do without her.. She has grown so much from the day I first knew her. Now she's dependable, and she's someone I can fall back on. She's gonna grow further. Leader of 2, 5, 10, 15. I thank God for that day Samantha decided to let me lead her. From Genting (: Hey yo, I'm blogging from Genting! Hahahaha. Just finished watching Kungfu Panda and it was super hilarious! Laughed like siao throughout the whole show. Went shopping before that and I bought quite a lot of things. Hahaha. Recently me and Ah Fei flow too much alr! Always say the same things at the same time. We even want to buy each other the same thing, haha! The first person that talked to me online was TEH WEN JUN! He just nudged me and said, "so how?" I was like, "Lao shi I'm OVS now, cannot receive sms." Funny laoshi said, "Where are you? On Mars ah? Why cannot receive sms?" Aiyah, RJ people think too much. Cannot receive sms cos no autoroam mah!! LOL It's as simple as that. I was trying to lookout for Jian Ming cos he's at Genting now too! But just cannot find him. Maybe he's playing at the theme park. Hahaha. Read a chapter of Faith by Phil Pringle. Super fantastic mannnnnn. I'm gonna devour that book. Haha And I read Esther. She's a woman of really great faith. If she didn't have faith in God, then she wouldn't dare to speak up to the king at all, or ask for so many favours. She had favour with men. Okay I'm off now. Btw, B2's attendance don't grow by 2-3. Sinfei, once an enemy, now a friend Nothing much to blog really.. All the thoughts in my head I don't really know how to blog them! They are all meant for my dearest report on Wednesday, haha. Sam just asked if we want to overnight at her house on Thursday! I really really want to! I miss hanging out with Sam! I remember starting of the year when school just reopened, Sam suffered from some withdrawal symptoms because it's so weird that I didn't call her up at all! Hahahaha. I think I really miss Sam a lot (: Just told DT me and Sinfei's story from long ago. Do you know? In Sec 1, Sinfei and I were from the same clique, I was proud of my good results, she disliked me, I got kicked out of that clique. We were kind of like enemies. We didn't say hi to each other in school, sometimes we didn't even acknowledge each other's presence! Subsequently she came to our church when we were sec 3 and it was weird at first, I didn't know how to behave around her! But... NOW WE ARE BEST FRIENDS HEHE. Who would have thought we were enemies.
