Keeping my blog alive I'll try my best. To keep my blog alive. Hahaha. I'll miss Dhoby Ghaut! The past 1 1/2 years have been great. Wonder what and where will I be now if on 11 Dec 2005, I have not decided to visit a certain church in DG. Definitely not what it is now. Old don't go, new don't come. (Pardon me for the wonderful english. Haha) SingPost is definitely going to be better. More salvations, bigger revival! Jian Ming's nick: "New Building, New influence." Yes amen! Looking forward to there. And looking forward to moving away from there. Maybe by that time we would alr have our own building!!! God have always been good to us. Candles, burn bright! Feels like eternity since I last blogged. Haha. Been busy with many many tests. Mock exams every saturday! 88 days to O levels. I love combined science! Hahahah. First time in my sec3&4 year that Miss Oh told me I've done well in my physics! HEH HEH. Organic chem is difficult =x Sam shared a super inspiring with us ytd!  There were many candles, tall and short. As Wayne lit up some, some went out. As I lit up some, some wax fell on my hand. Super painful. Some burn all the way till they were gone. While some got extinguished halfway. We didn't light up some more, and all the candles extinguished. There are many people in Nan Chiau now. Yes, we are the biggest school in church. But some of us have only 1/2 year left (short candles), some 3 years (tall ones). As we save some, some backslide. As we reach out to some, some hurt us. Some stayed till the very end. Some left us halfway during the race. If we do not reach out to our younger generation, there would be no more light left. Summary! Let's try to summarise everything. Raja will be so proud of me (: Mock Exams Despite all my stressing, it turned out to be quite fine! I brought lappie to school so I can bring to church later to do some church stuffs. Then it ended up helping Shar to relieve stress during our exam break. So lol. Everyone pia-ing studies and she's like, "Aaaaa, yao shu le!" Prayer Meeting AWESOME! Really felt like keep praying keep praying! Didn't really feel like stopping when Pastor ended the prayer. Hahaha. Said bye together with Pearlene to Pastors. Pastor Lia: "Come on strong after your exams okay?" (smiles sweetly) Me: "Yes Pastor!" (smiles widely) Planning of Nubian Gents I cracked my head. Breakthrough in planning. Haha Nubian Gents EXCITING LAH! They sang to the rhythm of their DANCING, And I saw people like Choon Wee & Choon Hua. So cool~ Pastor's sermon: wahlamak! I didn't listen to everything but I bought sermon CD! :D For Yanyin & Astrid too! Today Shiok man! Woke up late = Might as well don't go school. Hahaha. Chiong finish HP 7, at least now I can totally ignore HP series. I can lend FE now! Talked to Sam for 2 hours! :D Talked about many many stuffs~ Wayne taking over as ZA soon! Hahahaha. "Your faithfulness never fails" Just now i was like feeling super stressed. Cos its like 7pm, and I haven reach home! Then I thought about the amount of things I need to study. Then I think about usher ministry, so many things to settle. I was sooooooooooo super stressed, nearly cried luh! (you know how serious is that) Yeah, so I was like bathing. Then I decided to play some worhsip songs. Soothe my feelings ~ Then i was listening to "Worship You Alone". The first sentence hit my heart.. BOO! Today flew past! Haha. Quite a happy day except for 2 things lah. Someone's stress. And another someone's rocky relationship. Sigh, how different their life would be if they knew God! Did sth stupid today. LRT has 2 routes: one to the east, the other to the west. I went to take the wrong route. And it's not like take one whole round can reach final destination. I took back to the original stop, just to go for the other route's train. Hahahaha. Wasted 30 mins~ Oh, sorry Kris for stealing your eraser. Haha. Continue burning! Today is just another boring school day. But, the NE performance was quite fun! On racial harmony. Hahaha. Aaron the Geek, Aaron the Nerd, Aaron the Bookworm. Me, Myself, and I. Super lameeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Kathy gave me high marks for my compo! And I was like showing it to everyone who would read it in church. In the end only 2 people read ): Tess Lam Blu Blu & Kris Fu. Oh btw, Kris' maths is like wahlamak! Powerful siaaaa~ Ivan shared with me sth super powerful today. In 2 Timonthy, Paul was about to die alr, yet he didn't ask for Mark. He asked for Timothy. The Timothy who had a large church. Yet Timothy left his church, just to be with Paul. I'm really amazed by this story. And yes, I will go where the church needs me. Like what Ivan said, 30% might be sian, but you know what. The other 70%: I will go where the church needs me. From now on, no more complains. Genesis of a Genius Especially for dearest sheep as she cannot talk on the phone (: The reason we study is for the training & development of the mind. Genesis 1: 28 "God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."" -> God issused a commandment. He expects us to do it. -> We subdue the animals using our brains. Mark 12: 30 "You shall love the Lord... with all your mind." The human brain has a storage capacity of 125, 500, 000, 000 characters. Our brain is about 125, 500GB! Our brain changes according to how we use it. The brain don't determine us, we determine our brains. The more we use our brain, the more we get smarter. We are studying to train our brains. Conclusions: 1. We are not born stupid or intelligent. We are born with the "potential" to be intelligent. 2. Everytime we study, learn, and think, we make a new brain connection and open up a new pathway. In other words, we understand more and think faster. 3. Intelligence is a result of thinking. The more we use our brains, the more intelligent we become. Intelligence is a result of thinking. I LOVE MY PASTORS! Once again, I LOVE PASTOR LIA! Hahahaha. Sat in for something that Pastor Lia is teaching. She's amazing! I really learnt so so so so much from her (: THANK YOU PASTOR! Then aft that Ivan called me and ask me what did I learn. Then he teach me even more things! So I learn EVEN MORE. SO.. THANK YOU IVAN! Can I not be taken down? I feel like a Sunday Christian. Haha. But I know I'M NOT! :D Nvm, I know it's all for my own good. Pastors and leaders want me to do well for Os and they care for my results. That's all the consolation I need. Thinking don't come from intelligence. Intelligence comes from thinking. No one is born smart or stupid. But everyone is born with the potential to be smart. It just depends on whether you want to use your brain (: Sounds chim and yet simple at the same time? Well, this is said by a super powerful person! And that person is PASTOR HOW! It's a weird day! Crappiness! Shar aka Yati brought sweet plums to school. It saved my life! Combined science no need to listen to Miss Oh cos she dunno teaching what~ But her voice still managed to hypnotise me =x All her friends had weird dreams about her being violent. Yati, don't worry luhhhhhh! It's only a DREAM! Hmm, lunch was disgusting. Veronica Peh was giving us some insight about her constipated *ahem*. Hahaha. How it felt.. In one word, "disgusting". LOL! And I saw a group of girls! So I was telling Yanyin I think they don't like me. Cos one of them always blah blah ard me. Hahaha. Then she was like, "Oh! Cos one of them like him before mah!" Although you used Shanny's enormous jacket to tie me up, and made look as if I'm wearing a huge kimono, I shall forgive you! I will not forget the day (Sunday) which you mistreated me with violence (: (I can type this in peace because I know you won't be reading it! Haha.) Dear Deng Hui Min aka Deng Huiiiiiiiiiii aka best friend,  Thanks for the card! It really made my day (: However, I must confess that I was shocked when I took out the card. Hahahaha.
