A theological post about teachers meeting parents Now I finally know what is the motive for the VP wanting to meet me and my mum. To inspire me? In a way maybe yes? Cos I really want to promote. To scare me? Nah, not at all. TO SCARE MY MUM? DEFINITELY YES. Meeting the parents session is all about inflicting fear in your parents' hearts. (Yeah it was a big revelation to me too.) Before that my mum trusted me to study on my own, now we have a habitual conversation that happens everyday... Mum: Did you study today? Me: Yeah / A bit / No Mum: Can you make sure you study a not? Me: Yeah Mum: If you are not worried, I am you know. Me: Yeah Mum: Everyday go out.... (which I dont! Tone down already!) Me: Yeah Mum: Can you start studying already? Me: Yeah And it goes on. See, when you parents nag at you, they're just trying to pour out all the discomforts in their heart. As filial children, it is our duty to let them nag at us. If they don't nag at us, who else can they nag at? And if they say "Are you listening to me a not?" Very easy. Just change all your "Yeah" to "Yup", "Yah", (ALL STARTS WITH Ys!) "Okay"... The key is to vary your tone and really make it seem as if you're listening and serious about it. Conclusion: It's a chain reaction.

Shuxian talks to her soft toys Okay today I woke up at 645am. Reached school at 815am. Supposed to have a PW rehearsal at 930am, but the teacher cancelled it at 9am! Woah waste my time! Luckily there's Mac and this is what we did:         Okay I'm having a conference with Shuxian and Sinfei now and Sinfei's brushing her teeth, and Shuxian is talking to her soft toys. SX: Hi Mr Bear, how are you today? Bear: Very fine. Okay this is not made up, it really happened you can find Shuxian on Saturday and ask her. HAHAHA. And now Sinfei's trying to persuade Shuxian to tell her her blog add. Shuxian says it's BULLYING HER. Please take note. Gao xiao. (Only 3 of us will understand.) Okay the end. @ 12:21 AM
An ode to Gong Hua! After an ode to Sinfei, we will have an ode to GONGHUA! What's more today is a very special day - her birthday!!! I've been wanting to post this photo for a long time but must control myself arbo Gonghua will discover our surprise for her! (YES ITS GONGHUA!)  Our lovely box of surprises for her!  Sinfei & I making the cupcakes for her! (Haoyue is lazing somewhere, okay, she's the photographer)   TA-DAHHHHHHHHH!  Off to send our surprise!  After much trials & tribulations, we finally found Gong!  TWINS :D   Her condo has poor facilities - no lights at all! Must resort to this mean.    B2 - SMALL BUT AWESOME! Dearest Gong, I promise to bring 23 more people next year to plan a surprise birthday party for you. These 23 people shall all come from B2! Together we will bake cakes and not just cupcakes. An ode to Sinfei Okay it's time for the weekly update of Nadine's blog. Lol. This post is an ode to dearest Lai Sinfei. 1. Lai Sinfei and Gong Hua  (This is their SMS conversation.) Gong: (sms Sinfei about how she woke up late, and her mum was angry and exploded) Sf: Then what happened Gong: Then I died (I seriously don't know why they reply each other in 3-word smses) Sinfei really believed. Very shocked. Didn't know how to react to Gong dying. In the end she replied... Sf: Heaven can sms meh. WOAH I DON'T KNOW HOW HER MIND WORKS EH. SHE ACTUALLY BELIEVED THAT GONG DIED AND SMSED HER FROM HEAVEN. Best thing is how Gong reply her... Gong: (Didn't know what Sinfei meant but decided to play along) HOW YOU KNOW Wa lao.. Don't know how this 2 people think man. But it was quite funny. 2. Lai Sinfei and Cecelia Yap Earlier on Chew passed her some army rations. The food is really very nice, I don't know why army people don't like them. Haha. Sf: (takes out army ration to take a look) C: Woah how come you have army ration. Sf: Oh cos I am in the army mah.. (!!!!!!!!) C: Woah what are you doing there? Sf: (only rank she knows is sergeant) Sergeant. C: So fast sergeant already? When you sign on one? Sf: Oh last year when I got my O levels results.. Cos didn't do well so I thought army would be better. C: Then what are you doing there? Sf: Navy (Some time later) C: What time do you need to wake up tmr? Sf: Oh tmr... (Nearly wanted to say what time school starts) C: What time you booking in tmr? 8am? Sf: Oh... YA! C: Where is your army camp? Sf: (remembers Kinonn said his was at Sembawang) Sembawang. C: Then okay luh, quite near you house... (Chew ask Sf to demo marching, obviously Sf did some lousy marching) Chew: Why so lousy one Sf: Aiyah I sergeant mah. No need to learn marching. Room therapy My room is currently undergoing therapy... Yesterday was the first time it been through such a disturbing scene in its 12 years. Yes, Chew & Ru overnighted at my house. We screamed. We jumped. We highed. We laughed. We shared secrets, thoughts. We evaluated each other. We even tried to do a skit! (Okay only me & Ru, cos it's about Chew) BUT. THEY ATE CUP NOODLES WITHOUT ME. 1am Me: Yeah I sent in my integration list and my workplan!!! (Looks around - Chew is still doing int list, and Ru just started on workplan) Thus, I took a nap on the mattress. 4am (Awoken by Chew & Ru trying to snatch the bed. Chew won.) Me: CHEW! You want to snatch my bed while I am sleeping?! (Kicks her off the bed. Chew rolls onto the floor) Ru: Nadine, let me sleep with you!! (Squeeze herself onto my SINGLE bed.) Me: NO WAY. You sleep with Chew! (Kicks her off the bed. Ru rolls onto the floor) Me: Eh, let's eat cup noodles leh, I'm very hungry. Chew & Ru: Eat already!!! (Started laughing) Me: EH WHY LIKE THAT ONE. I WANTED TO EAT!!!!! (Started lamenting on why they didn't wake me up to eat cup noodles. Some more it's my house and they treat it like a free 7-Eleven) Ru: I wanted to wake you up! I said "Nadine" and Chew says to leave you alone! Me: Must be Chew's evil plan to get my comfortable bed! (Started describing her whole plan) Ru: Can't you just take it as she was thinking for you. Interesting encounter with the Taxi Uncle Haha, I just saw the CG blog and I had a great laugh. If Gonghua ever has her own blog, I will definitely read it everyday, and recommend all psychologists to introduce it to their depressed or psycho patients. It's a great remedy. Okay, this post has large fonts cos we must think for Gonghua. Her laptop is only this size (the white one):  Which means that all the words which are small, appear really really really small. You get the drift. Let me share with you my interesting encounter on the way home. As it is quite late and it very dangerous for a pretty girl to walk home alone, I (yes, I'm the one) took a cab home. So I boarded this comfort cab and told the uncle my address. He drove to CTE, and then he missed like 3 CTE exits which could have brought me home! I thought he want to act cool, go long way. So I waited. Then he brought me to Orchard!!! Alamak. CMI. Me: Uncle, I'm going to St George eh. Uncle: Oh I thought you going to St James. Me: No luh... I said St George what. Uncle: No, you said St James. Me: Uncle, my address leh. Can say wrong one meh. Uncle: (realises he's wrong) Okay, I minus $1 for you. Me: (think cheat my money so easy) Uncle, if you exited just now, I would have reached home already leh! Uncle: (refuses to lose) Okay, $2! AIYOHHHHH, By the time he turn here turn there, got at least $8 can! Midnight surcharge eh! The aunty spirit in me says CANNOT GIVE IN. So in the end, he restarted the meter and my cabfare $8 plus only. Hahhahahahaha! Has a great S&L PM where I learnt so much from Wendy (: CG WORSHIP SESSION WAS THE BEST! Slow & Steady Pom Pee Pee! I. Must. Blog. I. Really. Must. I am very excited now!! B2 & B20 has hit an actual of 12! Though we are not EXPLOSIVE, we are SLOW & STEADY POM PEE PEE! Whooooooooooo. I must change my blogskin soon... Once I figure out how to read .exe files. Otherwise Chew will say the wind keep blowing my hair, then she will keep laughing at it. I'm sad to say that my life today was quite boring. The most interesting thing was that I fell asleep on the sofa :/ OH OH! I am going to put GXT videos in my iTouch then use that to EV to my friends! GXT must start holding pens wherever they go cos my friends will wana get signature from them :D @ 12:52 AM
Hospi I was typing my report, and I realised I haven't blog in a long time. Been having too much fun at the CG blog, haha! I really don't know what to blog eh.... Well I had my first Hospi today! Some people (PANG CHEW THENG) said that when Ru & I do Hospi tgt, Hospi area sure very noisy, and think that I don't know she said this! Excuseeee meeee, although I'm not very sure about Ru, I'm definitely a very very VERY civilised person, that talks minimum-ly unless of absolute necessity and also at a very low volume! Therefore, Hospi area was quite quiet today unless you include Ru into the picture. I had a fun time cutting lemons and watermelon! As the Pimplies (Me & Ru) are going Hospi tgt, the Tofu Skin (Cheryl Chan HM) came to show off her tofu skin (duh). While at it, Ru & I concluded that Jordan Tng is not tofu skin. He's chin chow cos he has dark skin! Haha. So Jordan, YOU ARE IN CHIN CHOW CLUB! Ru said that I'm very talkative and the moment my baby comes to this world, it will not cry but talk... Which means that Olive's baby will come out talking about Ghost Whisperer? Chew's baby will come out meowing? Sinfei's baby will come out like a stick? Gonghua's baby will come out babbling childish lit poem? Ru's baby will come out with that gong gong smile and doing some cheerleader stunts? Oh well. it's all a mystery.
