Convictions Ah... Just sent an email to Ivan and it felt good. It's always great to send your leaders an email, sharing with them what you're thinking. I shall not blog about the email anymore as it's private & strictly confidential! Haha Today is officially named Mugging Day. From 11am - 6.30pm! Felt quite proud of myself. Seriously I wasn't distracted nor took a break. Not until Eeloo came and sat next to me. From then on I lost my focus, a little. Haha. Few days ago I had an interesting msn convo with a friend.. And I thought of Ivan's post - Culture VS Convictions. When circumstances around you change, would your stand remain the same, or would it change together with your surroundings? I think it's so important that you stick to your convictions. If someone challenged mine, I would definitely fight back. It's what I believe in, what I live for. My friend may come up with 1001 reasons to convince me, but he'll never succeed. No matter how "unreal" he says my conviction is, well, it's mine and he can never do anything to it. The only people that can change the way I think would be God, Pastors and my leaders. These people are responsible for my life. If I don't listen to them, then who else can I listen to? Stick true to your convictions. It will determine your life. Btw.. PASTORS ARE BACK!! Not to mention Rinnah too! Hahaa. It was weird going to Admin Ofc everytime I reach/leave church, and there's no one for me to wave to. And no Rinnah just being everywhere! She's duper cute (: Looking forward to a great service this weekend, and meeting with Psts! It's wonderfuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuul to have them back!!! I. Am. Excited. |
