It's all part of God's plan Was talking to Hao Yue on the phone, and telling her that no matter where we go, God has a plan in store for us. It brought me back to Primary 6. Everyone expected me to get better grades, some teachers were quite disappointed with mine. My desire was Cedar, yet I got into Nan Chiau, this ulu school I've never heard of before. From English-speaking background, into this cheena school, complete with Chinese school song and motto. For 2 years, I led a purposeless, friendless, lifeless life there. Forever changing my group of friends, never seeming to fit in. Yet at the end of 2005, someone brought me to church. And from then, my destiny in life unfolded. Although she has left now, but still I thank her for bringing me into my destiny. And only in 2007, then I looked back on the past 4 years, and finally realised it was all part of God's plan. Maybe I would have gone to hoGc in Cedar, but I may not start a revival there. In Cedar, I can declare proudly to the world, "I'm from a good school." But in Nan Chiau, I can proudly declare to God, "I've done your work, I fulfilled the purpose that you have given to me in that school." I've started something, and it would keep on going. Something to be remembered even after the 1000-year reign. Yes. I truly think it was all part of God's plan. Wanted to blog about yesterday's discipleship class but realised there were some sensitive issues... But definitely, the presence of God. I was ministered to. Never thought I was feeling this way, but God opened it all up. Poured out my feelings to Him. It felt good. It was refreshing. Where can I go from Your Presence Under Your wings I take refuge Your Spirit lives within my heart I know we'll never be apart The presence of God. I love it. |
