Yes, I'm hungry Yesterday was just powerful. I think my spirit has been stale. Too complacent. Think that God is just there. No freshness. But now. Everything is gonna be different. New spirit! Was reading "The Unquenchable Worshipper" on the train today. Matt Redman was talking about how they were focusing too much on the music, and too little of the pure presence of God. Because of that, he wrote this song: "Heart of Worship". Just as I read the lyrics, I reached my stop. Put my book back into my bag, alighted. Just then, my mp3 played "Heart of Worship". Even when walking home, I could feel the presence of God and just wanted to worship. I'm coming back to the heart of worship, Where it's all about you, all about you Jesus; I'm sorry Lord for the things I've made it, When it's all about you, all about you Jesus. Freshness in the spirit, coming back to the heart of worship. |
