I decided that staying at home is kinda unproductive. End up sleeping & reading & watching TV. Tmr is a chiong day from 8am to 430pm with only 15 mins break! *gasps & faints*

Feeling oddly chilled & relaxed towards A levels.. Like I know its in 20 days' time, I'm scared and all but there's this assurance inside. Just gotta go give my best this next 34 days, and then everything will be over & done with. Whatever happens is all in God's plan. Even if something bad does happen, it is to test my obedience to endure all these!

(Of cos God if You're reading my blog post, it would be good if You can give me a couple of As.. I dont demand a lot. Just A for Chem, Math & Econs. And maybe a B for GP & Geog. I'll be satisfied with that! Hehe)

Really can't wait to go on staff man.. My dream for 3 years! After dreaming, tasting, 4D-ing for the past 3 years, its finally coming to past! Still has this paper which I wrote on 9 nov 2007 saying that 2 years from then, I'll be on staff! Kinda ironic cos I start my exams on 9 Nov this year... Hahaha.

Okay gotta go start on my Chem now! Mock exams this week!!

Yes, our beloved Gonghua is finally back from her exams and I already I've been surrounded by her nonsense (: Not that I'm complaining, not even 1 bit! I'm enjoying every bit of her nonsense :D

Only when she's gone did we realise we will miss her so muchhhh. Awwww~

Purposely called her today just so that I can hear her voice!

Decided to blog since I'm not going anywhere with my math.. The signs are quite simple. After 1 hour, I'm at the 2nd part of the 1st question. & I actually did the first part in the morning before I left for church... Hahaha

Recently I really felt the need to start chionging & mugging like siao! Been studying till 3am everyday, then waking up at 6am for school. But I didn't KO!!! :D :D :D Got a revelation while reading the Bible one day, and it's like the verse of the season. Guess that's why I could just keep going on... Endure till the end, & God will fulfil His promise (: I realised I haven't slept properly for a week! Just 3-hr nap everyday. Haha. Not bad huh

On a separate note, I've graduated from VJC!!!!!! (((((((:

Yay, the joy of ending prelims! It feels as if I've ended A Levels, but that's in another about 58 days...

Ended exams today and spent one, whole, glorious day in church.

Indulged myself in meeting people, having worship session, mtgs after mtgs, prepping testimony, editing stuffs... I can so totally imagine myself doing all these everyday after As!

As I was sitting in the admin ofc editing some stuffs, I was pretending that I've completed As, and was on staff!

Then secretly felt very happy about it but I kept the joy to myself. Hahahaha

I'm going to enjoy myself till school reopens on Wednesday.

I'm gonna have breakfast outings, lunch outings, dinner outings, supper outings, study outings, school outings.... Gleeing at the thought of it!

Reading Courageous Leadership, Inspired to Pray, & Life Story of Lester Sumrall now. Now is the time to really grow myself, since I have basically nothing to do except to grow the CG, and grow my results! Hahahaha.

Recently there's an influx of primary school friends on Facebook! Somehow nearly all became ah lians.. *reminded of Jiajia* Hahahaha. Maybe God is hinting... Sign of how to grow my CG?? Hahahaa.

Haven't been blogging for a long timeeee.

My 18th birthday was awesome! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, lovely B2 & B20 for their surprises everyday, and Chief Ushers for the Bible!!

B2 & B20 are really sweet! They have been leaving stuffs at my doorstep almost everyday since my birthday! Jamie came with a bag of food, but didn't realise I could see her as I was in the living room. BR gave me stationery, WC gave me Congxz (green carebear!!), Sinfei gave me.....

A ROCK. (Not the pretty, painted type. It was literally taken from some garden.)

She said it can be used as a paperweight.. Hmm..

A Levels in 80 days' time! After that, add 14 days and that's the day I get my freedom. Many classmates getting real stressed out. I'm stressed too, but I've learnt that God has a plan for all of us. I did badly for PSLE, went to Nan Chiau (some unknown school to me), but looked what happened! I came to Heart of God Church, found my purpose and destiny in life. And we're truly historymakers in Nan Chiau!

So.. No point getting stressed! Just study and give your best, God will do the rest! (:

Today I felt like the god of Math! I did my binomial and poisson distribution with the speed of a whirlwind~ whoooooooooosh! COMPLETED!

I got back the O levels momentum already. What are the symptoms?

1. I can't wait to start studying.

2. Once started, I don't wanna stop.

3. My hands are itching to hold on any set of notes, as long as I can study them.

4. I feel joy in attacking difficult Math sums.

5. I just love to study!

Wow, just finished preparing for zone meeting! Somehow I can't get to sleep even though it's 330am.. So excited for the zone!

I mean. Look at the growth from 80+ to 100+.. Then the no of people who are now tithing.. And the no of New Friends we had over last 4 months.. And the stories of all the exciting people who make the zone so happening! How to sleep! Hahaha

Going to force myself to sleep now. Wake up in 4 hours' time and chiong again! (:

My Achievements today

Today has been a great day!

The day was started with a great storm, which totally lit up my day because I love big storms! Either God makes it extremely sunny, or super heavy rain! I like extremes. Haha

Then my appetite was fulfilled! Actually it was quite bad today.. Nothing ever seems to fill up my tummy. I need a smaller stomach! Otherwise I'd spend to much money on food!

Oh and I managed to chiong out my Organic Chem Mindmap! Full marks would be awarded if "Summary is submitted on time and reflected significant effort." The whole thing looked impressive.. So I supposed it reflected significant effort? Hahaha. And I did hand it in today so.. Yay! Full marks! Haha

(This looks like a complilation of my achievements today.)

Then I had run through with Wei Chao and Gabriel. It was really funny because halfway all the guys from choir just appeared behind us. Then I stopped singing because I really couldn't find the right key.. But there was a choir singing behind me, in their harmonious melodies~ Hahahahaa

The best! Mock preaching with Pastor Lia!!! I'm so inspired by Pastor.. How she took time out just to teach us and guide us along. She has like 1240394829 things to do, but she chose to come and sit down with a group of youths, and teach us how to be better preachers! Amazed! A gazillion things to blog about, but some things are meant for my notebooks. Haha

I'm off to prepare for Geog for tmr now...

Joy of the Lord

Before I start on my horrible Organic Chemistry mindmap, I've really got to share about Jamie man!

Spent the whole day with her today. We went Heaven's Loft to eat ice cream, was tempted by Taka's food fest, Tako Pochi, Cold Storage's sushi.. Basically it was just a food indulgence outing.

But the best part is definitely pastoral mtg with Pastors where we were fed spiritually. Something brokethrough in the Spirit.

Jamie just smsed me that there's "this unspeakable joy in my heart and I just keep smiling for no reason though I'm so tired."

That, my friend, is the joy of the Lord (:

B2 & B20 has 3 friends for this weekend so far!! Real excited for the growth that is going to come with no limitations!

Wow.. Just read a testimony and once again I'm so blown away.

Things that we do in church seem so common to us, part of our everyday life, but we are truly creating a phenomena! Little things that we do like celebrating people's birthday is so common, but to some people, it is something special.

I'm just so thankful that God has chosen me to come to Heart of God Church. He could have chosen someone else to come, but He chose me instead.. A place where youths are believed in. A place where worldchangers are being birthed forth. A place where we are truly creating history.

Who cares whether I have no achievements in school? We'll see who get the last laugh when we all get to Heaven.

There are going to be no limitations to what we are doing here. We are going to be even bigger, stronger, and better!

God is so good to us.

Yay I'm currently very excited because of several reasons.

1. PASTOR HOW IS PREACHING ON SATURDAY!

2. Pst Kong and Dr AR Bernard are coming in less than 18 hours' time!

3. Exams' ending in less than 9 hours' time!

And most importantly, been hearing from God some cool stuffs.. New level man. God has been just everywhere, speaking to me here and there randomly. But it's good. Prayer & Worship session with B2 & B20 leaders tmr. Gonna share with them revelation for the CGs. It's gonna be great! Think bigger, dream bigger (:

Oh ya! And mock preaching session with Pst Lia on Sat night! Haven't started on my sermon yet... Going to learn so much from Pst (: Thank God for Psts who love us so much!

Omgosh... I was reading my '07 posts and they were really funny. Those were the times man.. Thank God for great Pastors & leaders who sowed so much into my life, so that I am who I am today.

Had a great Homiletics Class today.. You would never know how much effort our Pastors & leaders put in just so to prepare 1 great sermon man. Today was like information download.. 10 pages of notes! I'm gonna have fun preparing my sermon this week (:

There are many elephants in my mind now..

B2 & B20 needs the breakthrough anointing.

We need to run after God, and not just hype and excitement.

We need to have faith; faith to breakthrough, faith that we can overcome all things thru Christ.

We need to have revelations; solid food and not milk.

We need more new friends!

We need 25!!

WE JUST NEED GOD.

Hoho, its time to update my blog. Otherwise I'm in no position to ask Gongfei to update theirs! But seriously, their posts are really amusing. Good cure for depression, study crazes, stress etc etc.

Today, I experienced freedom!!! I went OUT!

I went round North Vista, praying for a revival to come to it. Think I looked quite weird, just walking round and round the school compound, trying to act like a lost passer-by, but secretly praying like siao! It's gonna come man, I could feel faith lifting up when praying! Hohoho, the devil is gonna be so sad to lose another school!

Then we had a Nan Chiau lunch!! I was there first, so I purposely chose the table right in the middle of Macs. We have to make our presence felt manxzxz! In the end it became Nan Chiau cum Monfort outing! I felt weird sitting there with all the Sec 1s and 2s man.. A revival's gonna come! SCHOOLS!

Shopping with Deb & Sf for zone presents, then TRANSFORMERS. We took like 47 seats!!! Everyone was staring at the long strip of tickets that we had!

Whoa.. It took me 2 hours ot do the things that could have been completed in 1.5. And I'm going to push the blame to LSF and J Loh!!

LSF - SMSed me about something that happened when we were Sec 4. 2 YEARS AGO. And she brought it up at like 12am.

J Loh - SMSed me and told me she had craving for sushi 0.0 I told her to come and fish at my house's canal, but she refused to. So what could I say... What could I do... But offer... Nah, I won't offer my heart to her! HAHA. Okay that's quite lame

Services with Pst Joakim were DA BEST! Even though we heard the sermons before, there was fresh revelation, fresh anointing. So many people felt God for the first time today. They were surprised to feel it - because of how it felt, and they didn't know they could feel it. We are so happy for them. God knows how many 57843092 years we've been praying for them! God is faithful (:

It has been a long time since I last blogged this statement.. I HAVE TO WAKE UP FOR SCHOOL IN 5 HOURS' TIME. If not for Pst Joakim's sermons to take the schools, I would tell my teacher that my temp was 38 when I left home. Hahahahaha. H1N1! Better be safe than sorry

I'm trying to blog to keep my blog alive. But I really got no idea man...

God has been speaking a lot to me thru the Bible so it's really quite cool! To have Bible verses keep coming to your mind, then you can keep it aside, and 2 days later realise it can be applicable to your life.. That's quite cool isn't it?

Oh man I can't imagine how hilarious that would be!! This is MYM (Gong's mum) latest attempt at learning English:

This complicated sentence can be deciphered into:

Speaking about blogs.. I'm having a fun time stalking people on blogs hehe! Whoa it's quite amazing.. These people are totally different on blogs, and in church. The truth shall set us free. Dreams, Visions & Imaginations

Was preparing B20 CG sermon, when I chanced upon notes that I've taken long ago on 25th Nov 2006. That day, Pst How preached about "Dreams, Visions & Imaginations".

I remembered Pst How sharing with us about how we do not only pray about what we want to be, but we must be able to see it in our mind as we pray. As en enthusiastic student of SOW (then), I told God that I want to be a CG guitarist!

As I prayed, God showed me a vision.. It was in the auditorium of FTMS House. There was B2, sitting in a circle, a CG setting. I was there, but I wasn't playing the guitar, I was preaching the Word of God.

After God gave me that vision, I was literally stunned. At that time I just started becoming a leader in church, and my team was just me, myself & I. I was shocked, and told myself that dream was too big to achieve. How can I even dream of becoming a CGL?? I kept that vision to myself, and soon forgot about it.

2 years later in 2008, God reminded my of that vision. I was quite shocked, so I totally forgotten about it. But yet, it made me so happy, because even 2 years ago, God already knew where I was going to, what I was going to do.

I've learnt, that no matter what happens, just trust in God and His words. It may be difficult to achieve but hey, God never lie. If He says it's going to happen, then I guess any amount of disbelief won't undo any of it.

So smile, have faith, believe in yourself, and most importantly, believe in Him (:

I had a really great day today! Met Max, Yong Kin & Gong at Bugis, and randomly decided to watch movie. Okay, we watched because I wanted to watch and I persuaded everyone & convinced them they wanted to watch as well.

Then we went to church to hangout. Saw WC, BR, Brandon, Alvin, Gab.. Jerome & Darius came later too! Became like a CG gathering! Played Jurassic Jumble & The Chair Game.

I found out so many things about Darius & Jerome.. Darius is only 10 years old, but he makes better milo than his mum. He can fry fish. He makes his own special sauce that his whole family eats with their food. Jerome can cook fried rice. They're going to learn how to cook curry next week. I can only cook white rice and instant noodles!! Omgongxz, they should join Hospi or something!!

Going to start work tmr and it's gonna be cool. Administration, helping to archive some books. I think I will enjoy it. Administration & books! Haha. Then meeting Jamie and Rosaline to study. Then pastoral meeting with Pastors!! Life is exciting.

Just did my CG sermon and I'm so excited for B20 CG on Friday! after which we're going to plan Lan together near Brandon's house :D

Life is so funny. You want to make full use of it, so you don't want today to pass so quickly, but yet you can't wait for tmr to come because you don't know what is installed for you!

Chew just smsed me to say that her house got blackout - no aircon, no fan, can't charge hp, can't go online.. We are literally at the mercy of technology man. No wonder robots can take over us! (Think transformers.)

Haha I'm just talking crap luhhh.

B2 & B20 hit 45 for RR and I'm really excited. Let's go for above 20 this weekend. 22, it's possible.

Today's Red Rain was awesome! Getting to know so many people.. Brandon zai luh. He brought like, 5 friends?? And he came During Heart Fest! Only 3 months in church and already he has caught the heart for the lost. He's one amazing Sec 1 (:

B2, B20 & B21 are so differenttttttt.

B2 - JC girls. Fave activity is to do cute stuffs. Eg: KINDER JOY!

B20 - Cool Sec 1s & 2s + Sec 4s & Poly. They love games, wrestling, and taupoking each other.

Oh btw, B2 is filled with super loving people. You should come and see my room one day. 1 wall dedicated to the artworks of B2. I have a shirt hanging there, and a ring for my baptism gift.. They are creative people man!

On a separate note, it's nice to walk past my parents' bedroom, and hear my dad's thunderous snores. My mum has sensitive hearing, and will wake up at the slighest noise like switching on the kitchen lights. But yet. She sleeps through that wonderful symphony conducted by my dad. I absolutely salute her. That's 1 simple reason why I love my parents - my dad's snores and my mum's ability to sleep thru it (:

Jamie Loh - She has 3 friends for RR so far! Who says JC people can't bring friends? Some more they're all JC 2, so no more using major exams as excuse not to bring friends! And she did her first usher duty today. This is how she decribes it, "hungry ttm, ached ttm, arm got scratched by chair, i think have new pimples due to stress...." 3 years as an usher, I've never been scratched by the chair before, I wonder how she does it... Hahahhaa.

Gabriel Toh - He got into SOW guitar class! Yay! Fulfilling my lost dream (inside joke), muahaha. He took out his savings, all the coins (literally), just so that he can sign up for SOW! And I know he is saving up for a game too.. This shows how badly he wants it (:

Donovan Choo - Under the mighty influence of Nadine Leong, he has finally gotten a FB acct!! HAHAHAHA. He's just amazing. Came to church during Easter, bringing 5 friends for RR!

I'm feeling a narcissism rush now... I'm so in love with my CG!! Hahaha.

This is what Pastor How meant. A generation that is going to surpass the next. They are going to do so much more that what we're doing.. It's so exciting. Because the future is so big and unimaginable. I'm eager to find out what God has in stall for us!! Standing on the shoulders on my Pastors and leaders, taking the generations, with the generations, for the generations!

Seriously don't know how to search for videos.. Can do research online but can't find a video. Haha. Wanted to find this super lame & funny video to watch.. Laugh until can die. Hahahaha. oh well, shall wait for my friend to send me the link then!

Recently I got a new hobby to do while busing... I like to look at the scenery. Hahaha

I wonder how did God create all the clouds.. How did He even think and conceptualise them?? Thick fluffy clouds that can be like mattresses, or small wisps of clouds hanging delicately in the sky.. How they all balance out so perfectly...

And the trees. Only when I was observing then I realised the same palm trees, you have super tall and super short ones growing next to each other.. Those with leaves growing in bunches and the ends of the branches, or even how the canopy layer of the Flame of the Forest can just spread out so evenly.

And the route to school and my tuition centre happened to pass by all the landed property. And I'm just amazed at the architecture... If the HS can bring out so much creativity, I'm sure He can do the same for us too.

I'm so thankful that my God is a creative and colourful God.. Not a black & white God. Imagine going out, and all you see is black & white. The clothes you wear, only black or white. Life would be so sian manzxzxz. I don't know how He thought of all these colours, but I'm sure glad He did!

Has pastoral meeting with Charleston & Ivan just now.. Charleston shared so much about being a history maker, and making a difference. Can really feel his convictions and heart for the lost.. I want to be just like him (:

I'm happy cos I went to watch 17 Again todayyy!!! Zac Effron is so good looking, worth paying the money to go watch! (Actually student deal is only $6. HAHA)

I'm feeling very accomplished now cos I just deleted many things away from my to-do list! Yay!

I just reminded my class to bring thermometer for temp taking exercise tmr! Swine flu is so scary, but Ivan blog until like swine flu quite funny. Haha. **images of pigs flying in heaven in my mind**

Anyway school was crap today.. Was on the bus at 7am, looking at the clear blue sky, at big bright sun, thinking what a wonderful day I'm going to have with my lectures, tutorials and remedial. Then just as I reached school, I remembered "IT'S INVESTITURE". Oh man, 2 hours of school day wasted. But since here already, so nvm, sms Huimin tell her let's sit tgt so we can talk talk talk. THEN. The rumours came to my ear... TODAY HALFDAY OFF!!!! So nvm, I told myself that it's okay, still got 2 tutorials to attend... Then principal announced that no school for that day, AT 9.40AM.

It's 4am now and I'm not asleep not because I'm some superwoman.. I slept from 11.30pm to 2am just now already! Then now super hungry so the hunger's keeping me awake. Haha. Chew is now busy superpoking people on Fb, and I always wonder what makes her stay up till so late everyday. Now I know....

This week is gonna be an amazing week with 24! Last time we had it was FTMS. Super long ago.

Early in the morning, Gonghua asked me to go to Google.. Once you're there you would know whose birthday is it today. It's Samuel Morse's! Inventor of morse code.

Oh super sian.. I just received an sms from my mum. She's stuck in Bangkok's traffic jam and may miss her flight. This means 1 more day to seeing her, and 1 more day to being a temporary nanny to Justin Leong! Oh well. I asked my mum to jump off the cab and run to airport but apparently she has 3 luggages and 2 cartons to carry. Haha

I didn't go to school today! Noooooooo, take away that first thought that came to your mind. I didn't ~~ponnnnn~~. I didn't go to school because I had very bad flu ytd and I'm still feeling feverish. The fan is full blast at me but I'm still happily perspiring, ewww.

We just had a conference with Ivan and concluded that I have swine flu... Cos I sleep like a pig, and I'm having flu. I napped from 1pm-6pm. Someone else woke up at 10am, ate breakfast, read 1 page of notes, then slept till 4pm. I shall not name names.. Later I'll get killed by her. Muahahaha

Alvin Neo is doing some tomato facial for his face now. Then he keeps laughing, I smsed him and say he will get wrinkles but he still laughed. Hahhahaha.

Gonghua just told me that she ran for 24 mins for 2.4. She forgot that she was having 2.4, then she ate 3 pieces of nutella bread and drank 1 bottle of water before that. Halfway during last year's 2.4, she went to the toilet... She's the ultimate manxzxzxz.

Chionged dance last week and I felt so deprived of friends! Nvm this week I'm gonna chiong back all the things that I was deprived of! Follow ups and outings. Hahaha.

Today.... I love today.

Life has been good recently.

Today on the way out of school, I was just thinking of Pastor Lia's birthday celebration... Then I started thinking about all the ministries, and all the youths running the ministry...

Then I thought of how everyone became an IC or a leader at 14, 15 or even 13 years old. I mean, look at Wei Ze, a leader when he was Primary 4.

Then I realise because of the culture surrounding me, I am used to young people being leaders and taking the lead. To us, it's very normal. I mean, young people SHOULD and CAN lead. So when I go to school and people are amazed by the Students Council or CT Council, I'm like, "Very big deal meh". Of course then I must remind myself to be humble, HAHA.

But honestly. We're changing lives everyday. Every single thing we do. Yes they improve the welfare of "fellow Victorians" but... Who will remember that during your year as a councillor, you put a rubbish bin there to minimise rubbish????

Yeah.. I love our church. Atmosphere of faith. Why not? What if?

Sunday's a cool day yo! Whole family went to church together (:

I'm stuck at what to write! Haha.

Anyway, recently my life's been very exciting because my family's all going to church, the CG brokethrough 20, I feel so connected to God, and I can finally get to dance after 2 years of break. Haha

Awww I seriously think I missed dancing a lot! I told Ivan yesterday and it was quite cool. Yeahhhh I feel like blogging about what we're going to do for Pastor Lia's birthday celebration, but oh well you know. MUST BE TOP SECRET (although nothing's a secret after you blogged about it). So please, do join us this Sunday! Then you will see what madness we can come up with... Thinking about them doing the things they're going to do makes me wanna laugh out loud. Haha

Les Miserables is a good musical man! Go watch it. The song that Britain's Got Talent's Susan Boyle sang is also from that musical! I love musicals! Les Miserables, Annie, Les Choristes, Grease, Mama Mia! Okay some aren't really musicals, but as long as there are songs inside, then I like! Haha

I am smsing Xiang Hua now, he super funny. He got no school today! So slackeerrr. Then I realised it's because he has 8-10 hours of school every Mon and Thurs! So scary. The longest day that I have in school is only 7.5 hours. Poly more chiong than JC manzxzxzxz!

I concluded that God put me in VJC because it's a slacker school, teachers don't care and you can skip school events as easily as 123.

Haha, I'm just talking crap now.

It's Saturday today and it feels weird to be at home at 12pm... I should be in church! But I wanted to spend sometime with my family... BUT BUT BUT. THEY ARE STILL ASLEEP. Wa lao eh... it's afternoon! There goes my dream of having lunch with them. Ha!

Yesterday during B20, Gabriel played guitar alone! No luh, Wei Chao didn't backslide.. He just had test in school. Haha! So cool to see the next generation rising up. And Brandon tried the Dracula style of drinking bubble tea. In the end, I think the 2 straws were too much for him, so he just drank from one instead. Haha

Did Hospi and went shopping at NTUC with Jieru... Ultimate... 2 aunties shopping at ntuc together... And there were so many discounts! Jieru went crazy like it was a dream come true. Hahahahaa

Jamie Loh came hospi area to find me afterwards. Forced her to draw her cute comic girls again, ha. Then we crapped with Sam and Ang Wei Jie.. Madness sia. Just blabbering nonsense, but talked about some deep stuffs as well. It was cool hanging out with them (:

Okay I pray my family will wake up within the next 50mins otherwise they won't see me till like 11pm tonight! Hahahaha.

I declare today (and yesterday) my happiest day of this year (so far)!

Yesterday Jamie Loh made this beautiful card thingy for me!! Although she claims that it is not pretty, but I think it is! Then she thinks that my pencil box too plain, so she bought 8 colourful markers from Muji to add colours to my life! Awwww love her ttm!

Random side-track: I think BB is one of the greatest evolution of phones.

Okay today was awesome awesome awesome to the max max max!!!

Prayer mtg, meeting, CG.... Before all that I went to my new fave spot in church (dont tell you where later it'll be gone) to pray and worship. Felt so faith-filled after that, you know everything would be zai today.

And everything was well... ZAI!! HAHA. Presence of God was the strongest ever, and everyone got so ministered by God. Felt a breakthrough in praying personally. Tmr's CG with B20 is gonna be even better (:

Recently I'm on mugging mode... Like literally studying during every break. I feel like I've attained a higher level of being a student. HAHA.

I think I got a flair for languages.. I just learnt Korean from a book today! (okay only can count from 1 to 10). Then Cherie taught me 1 to 10 in Jap! Then I ownself figure out how to count to 60.. Yes I counted all the offering envelopes in Jap! So proud of myself can. Best thing was, Yilin came to us and "Why are you all speaking in Thai?" WA LAO EH.... It's JAP lehhhhh. HAHA!

Finally bought my Study Bible!!! Also bought sermon CDs for Roadmaps and "Are the U-Turns in the Garden of Eden?" So excited about it. Going to listen to it after this!!!

I told myself I must blog today. Haha. I'm stuck at how to reply an email to Ivan... Needs creativity so I need to relax first! Hahahha.

Life is exciting. I love the feel of a gazillion things to do! You come home, sit in front of the laptop and type. House phone on my right so that I can call people easily. Handphone on left so that can see smses etc easily. I feel efficient and on top of things!

Anyway just want to inspire YOU for Easter!!

We've lost contact with this guy for 1 year already! And we were just talking about inviting him on Monday night... Then Wei Chao saw him on the train today! And he's coming for service on Friday!! Lost contact for 1 year and yet he agrees readily to come (:

This guy hasn't came back since 31 Jan (BR's bday!) Suddenly smsed me last night.. Some random Chinese chain sms. So I replied him asking him how's life.. And he just told me that he wants to come back to church! I didn't even say anything about church (:

Brandon came for Heart Fest and we just started follow up last week! He is going all out to invite his friends man! Keeps asking BR & I how to invite etc. Now he has 2 friends coming already!!!

So you see.. GOD IS MOVING! I'm sure if God is moving in B20, he can move in your CG now.

I thank God for creating water so that we can bathe. And I thank God for giving people the inspiration to invent water heater, taps, showers, soap, shampoo, cleanser...

Today was a hot (=sweaty) day. And I had PE. And we went to Chomp Chomp to eat! Zone nights out! I got to talk to amazing people like Wei Cheng, Fatimah Lim, Minah Yeo...

Anyway, so the result at the end of the day = sweat-accumulated body, greasy hair, oily face

Oh man my dearest brother is so cute! I came home and found him sleeping on the bed. He was propped up with the TV in front of him, so I guess he fell asleep halfway thru whatever show we was watching...

Me: Justin wake up! (He sat upright, eyes wide open)

Me: Okay go and sleep now! (Sat upright, eyes close)

Me: Eh, wake up!! (Sat upright, eyes open)

Me: Nooooo, go and sleep. (Sat upright, eyes close)

Me: I mean, lie down and sleep (Puts his head backwards, still in sitting position)

Me: Slide down some more (Moves a little downwards but still machiam sitting + sleeping)

In the end I had to like shift him down manually...

Okay enough of the ranting.

Yesterday's testimony was awesome. Esther's testimony was so anointed, and you could really feel how much she had went thru in the 12 years of her Christian life. I enjoyed doing her testimony with her, and everything she told me never failed to amaze me. Friends teasing her in school, friends who left church, family problems.. And she never once blamed God. It was so touching to hear her share her testimony and I'm sure many people in Zone F were touched and inspired by this great woman of God! (:

Led usher for the 2nd time yesterday! Many problems cropped up, things didn't go smoothly, I got discouraged.. But hey, it's normal man. Ultimately at the end of the day, God spoke to me, encouraged me, and told me what am I supposed to do now. I'm glad problems cropped up, otherwise my ushering skills would always be stagnant, never moving forward. So God is good (:

Haha someone just taught me how to differentiate the different genres of music...

1. Country - Old man singing

2. Pop - Younger people singing, but can't headbang

I'm stuck at "Untouched" by The Veronicas. Then I'm told it's cross-genre, and it's called electropop.

I attempted to teach Cheryl Yeo math today. Attempt totally failed. Then she asked me how I tutor Candy last time. I told her, "Last time I was smarter. I am currently very sad because Fb and Twitter seems to be down! Cannot visit my Chu Chu in Pet Society. Sad ttm ): Oh BTW! Tan Wei Liang gave me the grand piano for Pet Society! Hahaha. Yes, super nice I know. Ask me and I will show you who is he this weekend :D

Today is Wang Mama and President's birthday! SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

B2 called Wang Mama at 2222H aka 10.22pm. Reason being... she is 22 years old this year! *gasps* But don't tell her you read it from here, cos she wants to be 18 like the rest of us. But her 18 was 4 years ago. Haha.

Today Sinfei and I reached a new level in camwhoring. We took photos with our TUITION TEACHER! He's super funny, got many poses! Haha. I will upload in the next post!

We walked around Northpoint for just 20 mins, and we saw 13 people from our church! Yishun is truly our 2nd HQ next to Paya Lebar. Hahaha.

I'm like, uploading more than 400 photos now... Didn't know we took so many at B Zone Chalet! But we had fun! Hahaha.

We went cycling with Charleston at about 3am! We went up a slope and I didn't realise it was a slope...

N: Eh, I think my bike spoil eh. Suddenly like very hard to cycle

Gab: Is it your gear?

N: I don't know how to change the gear! I didn't touch anything!

(Looks up and realise it's a slope)

N: Nvm, I think it's okay alr. Not the bike spoil, it's because I don't have enough strength..

Then Raymond came for chalet. He's the one that looks like Lin You Jia! Always cannot link his face to Raymond. So LSF TGH & me were pretending to be fans, then very shocked to see him! (Actually they are just using it as an excuse to camwhore. Again.)

From the chalet I learnt many interesting things.

1. Jia Jia is called Fatimah.

2. Ah Cai actually loves taking photos.

3. Weichao has a portable router. (and he didn't tell us, so we went all the way to Macs to send Pre YA)

4. Zheng An can cook!

5. Cheryl is afraid to cycle alone.

6. Gabriel can cycle really very very fast, and very well.

7. Sinfei cannot thon!

8. Jia Xian loves to pretend to be busy cooking.

9. Eric can somersault dive very well!

10. Yao Hui really cannot control his body movements well. Eg: Wanting to brake but will end up slipping, and falling into the pool.

IT'S 3.46AM NOW!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEE!

At 2am, I randomly smsed Ivan! I told him that I really love my life right now. Haha, super random, I know.

I seriously do love my life man... Great life, with great God. Serving in a great church, with great Pastors and leaders. Having not 1 but 2 great CGs with great people. In 3 great ministries, serving people with great people. Haha. I REALLY DO LOVE MY LIFE!

I just did the databases and I feel so happy. Okay I know I'm weird. But I don't know why people don't like to do admin! I love admin ttm! Typing minutes, doing databases, collating birthdays... MY LOVES! Haha. Just now I said I love minutes and Fedora Brit Ee looked at me as if I'm some weirdo freak. Haha. Admin is so fun man!!

My conclusion about B2 & B20's databases is that Sinfei has the coolest CCA. CUE SPORT. (oh my gong, I typed SUE sport, haha!) Why is cue sport? Basically just an act cool name for playing cueball. HAHA

It's the 4am thingy man.. I feel high high high! In 9 hours' time I will be meeting B2 & B20 to do Gonghua's favourite activity before going for zone chalet! Her favourite activity is... EATING! HAHA

We had an awesome meeting with Ivan just now. Talked about our CGs, the zone.. Our zone is growing manxzxz! Just thinking about some of the plans we talked about makes me excited....!!

My weird dream.

Let me blog about my weird dream.

I dreamt that I was carrying a fat, white, pussy cat around the housing estate, and EXPLAINING TO THE CAT that many families of different income groups can stay in the same HDB estate.

Afterwards (I also dont know how), I ended up at some restaurant, eating lunch with I forgot who also. (The cat disappeared.)

Then I saw Jin Chiew, Eileen, Mark & Andrea! Then I helped to look after Andrea! But after awhile, I realised that I was late for a follow up lesson!! So I ran down.

But halfway running, I realised I left my wallet at the restaurant! So I ran back up!

Then (I also dont know why), church was at FTMS House! And there was going to be service!

It was quite cool actually. All the green & black chairs we had totally filled the entire audi, so I also didnt know how we were going to have service. Everyone was like packed standing up, and the cafe area, audi all were full of people. But oh well, I wasn't leading usher that day.

JACKY AND LEK FONG LED USHER! Then Noni told Shanny (dont know when all of them appeared) & I to observe, and learn from how they lead.

Then I went to join Ivan as he was talking to some B Zoners. Then...

I'm at Starbucks with Fedora now, and we're going to have a meeting with Ivan later on. I introduced her to a game called Word Challenge on Facebook, and now she's like totally ignoring me! I checked my email, went to update Fb, updated Twitter status, even went to Getty Images... And now I have this brilliant idea of blogging. HAHAHA

Went to a couple of blogs just now, and what people blog really inspires me. Different people really blog in different styles man..

Came across I-forgot-who's blog and the person was talking convictions.

The CG sermon was these 3 weeks is all on convictions, and it's like what Charleston shared, back to basics.

Yesterday a girl who left church long long ago started talking to me on MSN. I invited her back, then I realised how much church has really grown. When she left, we were like 400 people, now we are 1200.

After talking to her, I began to imagine what her life would be if only she has stuck on strong to her convictions, and continued to serve God even though she is bored or irritated with certain issues. She would be one of the KTLs in church, leading maybe a team of 10 people. Doing well in life, loving God, loving people, loving life.

At the end of the day, it's not friends around you that matters. But you and God. Of course, a best friend is important, but to me, I don't think it's essential. Like honestly speaking, I don't think I really have a best friend.. Yes, maybe close friends like Fedora, Chew.. People I share things with but I haven't found THE BEST FRIEND yet. Haha.

So I really don't understand why people can leave church because their friends do, or leave church because they're offended with their friends... I mean come on luh, isn't church all about God? Or course friends also matter luh, but the main thing is God. Exclude the God factor, you could have jolly well join a community club or something.

So oh well, stick to your convictions. It will determine the life you lead.

Yesterday was good! I led usher for the first time in 100000 years, and the feeling's so much different! In the past, it was just "Yeah I enjoyed ushering". But yesterday's usher duty seemed to be on a new level of excitement! I had fun ushering, and I hope the crews had as well (: Look forward to more duties to come (before AE takedown)! Haha

This week's going to be exciting.. With CG, Zone chalet... Speaking of CG, I had an awesome time with B20 last week!

B20 = 1 P4 + 4 Sec 1s + 2 Sec 2s + 1 JC 1 + 1 Poly 1 + 1 JC 2

Today I was enjoying my nap on the bus... Then I opened my eyes... And realised I've already passed my stop!! So I quickly alighted, and realised that I missed 3 stops!!

Then I smsed Pearlene, Sinfei and Gonghua:

"Lb! I missed my bus stop by 3 stops! Now walking home. Lol"

Today is such a sleepy day that I dozed off in lecture. Like literally sleep those type. But now I'm wide awake cos I HEARD MYSELF SNORING!!! Super malu can, luckly only friends sitting next to me can hear. Haha.

Yesterday was a great day spent with Jamie Loh. She's just funny ttm luh. We are so retro, that we communicate through SNAIL MAIL. Oh well, now it's all about going back to the old dayyyyyssss.

Unfruitful run

I officially declare today's running as unfruitful! We (Me, Zhiyi & Darren) ran for like 10 mins, then I was very tired after crossing the overhead bridge to TOA PAYOH. So we walked. And walked we did for about 40 mins! And we ran like the last 2 mins back? HAHA

Darren did an analysis on how we've been progressing for our running:

1st week - 2 BIG laps, 1 hour

2nd week - 2 SMALL laps, 20 mins

3rd week - 1 BIG lap, 20 mins

4th week - 12 mins of running + 40 mins of walking

So in conclusion, not very good! HAHA

But we had 1 amazing discovery! Halfway along the route home, we discovered a secret Chinese restaurant that is opened 24/7! So Zhiyi was like saying next time can have B Zone event there.. But we agreed that we need to go do tasting first!! HEHE

In the past 2 days, there has been this craze going around the leaders and staff of our church.. Suddenly my inbox's been spammed with email with the title "Change of email address"! Haha, I bet Yahoo's feeling very sad now, because everyone is switching allegiance to Gmail. What to do, their server too lousy and keep crashing. Haha.

Today was a nice day. We went to celebrate Luo Bin's birthday at his house, and I love this feeling of LOVE!

We went there with cake, candle, lighter.. and Weichao even brought Rachel (his guitar) along! We even had like run through to decide sing what key (even though it didn't go very well, haha!). People were like walking past and thought we were buskers hoping to earn some coins. We sang, blew the candle, took a photo.. And the sweetest thing was he looked at us and told us, "I forgot that my birthday is coming!" Ahh.. This feeling of love. It's the ethos of Heart of God Church (:

Then I had this brilliant idea of copying my leader Ivan, and bought chicken essence for everyone studying in JC in the CG! Sinfei, Gonghua, Pearlene, Weichao, Bingrong, Jamie, Shaorou... Just the look of surprise on their face is more than enough (: Weichao was just commenting on how he hasn't eaten chicken essence before, then I took it out and said "It's for you!" I just feel so happy! I think happier than him! Haha.

Just wrote letters and put it in the chicken essence box for Jamie and Shaorou. Going to crash SAJC tmr! Haha.

Also secretly put a box of chicken essence and a letter outside Shuxian's house! That's like Sinfei and I's favourite activity - leaving things outside Shuxian's house. Then everytime she would sms us, saying her house has no alligators and tigers, we can actually ring the doorbell. But that would have defeated the feeling of surprise!

MY MAMA!

Oh man, I feel so excited, yet guilty at the same time. Why must it come and haunt me at this time? A time when I feel so happy and accomplished....

Today was GOOD! Alvin completed his follow up lessons already!!! He is more commonly known as An Zai, a nickname given to him by Wei Ling. Hahahaha. He is really super zai luh, at his 2nd week in church, he already graduated from BMT(A)!!!

Then I had CG with B20.. Wow these people really grew a lot man. Compare them 6 months ago and you wouldn't believe it's the same group of people. Presence of God was thick, and definitely there was a breakthrough in the spiritual realm.

Then I had follow up with Jamie Lohhhhhhh. She. Is. Plain. FUNNY! The way she thinks ah... She should have go and taken literature and philosophy or whatever man! But she so awesome! The way she looks at spiritual stuffs.. and she's only 1.5 month old as a Christian! You are the best, my melancholic emo eyes! Haha

Did my first testimony, & that shall be kept a secret!

Mtg with Ivan. Needless to describe man! Everytime a meeting with Ivan ended, I just feel something changed on the inside. In every single meeting, you learn something new, and I just feel so priviledged to be able to be in B Zone, and to build this zone together with everyone!

10, 20 years down the road, we're gonna look at how much our zone has grown, and then tell all those youngsters around us, "We were here since the beginning." Wow I get so excited just thinking about that! Hahahaha.

Cabbed home w ah Bong, had the deepest conversation we ever had in all our cab rides together. Jogged all the way till Toa Payoh.. Well nearly luh, once cross the road considered Toa Payoh already. Then all the back and I felt so proud of myself. BUT....

The thing just had to come and steal my happiness.

Yes we indeed were.

We went in, smiling, high and enthusiastic. Introducing ourselves etc, all the time wondering when is the window going to open. In the end fake student chose to run in through the DOOR instead.

Skit continues and both Juniors and Seniors were stunned. Juniors because they really believed the thing was real; Seniors because we didn't know our classmates could act so well!!! So it went quite nicely. Then....

After scolding, my friend didn't know how to continue on, so he burst out laughing. And that trigger was more than enough. All of us exploded with laughter! And poor Juniors were looking on like, "What was happening???"

Haha so it was fun. Fake couple strolled in without knowing what happened. So even though we alreadt knew it was all an act, they carried out the acting, the flirting, and the fighting. Haha.

So that was my story of how the Seniors were Super Successful!

AND HEART FEST '09 WAS SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER FUNNNNNNNNNN!!!

It is really tiring being in a group with 8 GUYS. When I really really am very tired, they just go "Chiong ahhhhhh! Play this one, play that one!!!" And I go like," YEAH LET'S DO IT!" Though the flesh is (super) weak, the spirit is willing! So, I'm glad we all had fun (:

Tmr marks the annual Junior-meet-Senior Day in VJC, where JC2s meet their juniors, and get to know each other better. Seniors can give their junior 2 choices: TRICK or TREAT. And my class... We chose the more fun one. Haha.

Imagine this scenario:

1 classmate dressing up as a PE Teacher, another as a JC1 student.

Fake student walks behind teacher, realised he's late for lesson, and in a desperate measure to not be scolded, climbs over the window.

Midway during that attempt, fake teacher walks in classroom, and yelled at fake student.

After that, fake teacher introduces himself as the Assistant Civics Tutor of the class: They didn't see him the day before cos he was on MC.

Then strolls in fake couple, nonchalant that they were late.

Fake teacher scolds fake boyfriend, while fake girlfriend flirts with the fake student who was late.

Then fake boyfriend fights with the fake student.

And.....

I don't know what will the JC1s react tmr man. And throughout the whole thing we (JC2s) were supposed to remain serious, as if we were very shocked by what is happening. I think only Victoria as all these crap ideas and events man... Haha.

Haha, that post was stuck there for so long, I think everyone knows about Jamie Loh already!

Jamie and Shao Rou are really cool people who just joined in the family.. They're in the same school, same class, and SAME CLIQUE! There's also another girl in their clique called Melody, and she's also in church! Cool ttm luh! Whole clique in church, hahahaha.

Melo is super LB too. I walked to the MRT stn with her on Friday and... She laughed, laughed, laughed some more, her whole body was shaking with laughter, then she knocked into the old man next to her! He literally jumped! Then Melo was super paiseh, and meekly apologised.

I spent a great day with Jamie Loh todayyyyy!

Met at 2pm for Pastamania, and a surprise came along. IT'S called CHUI SHAO ROU! Hahaha. Immediately they reminded me I was late for 11 mins. Sian ttm!

Watched Bride Wars. Only me & Jamie. Sweeeeeetttttt cannnnnnnnn. (Pearlene is jealous that she can't come along). I will not do a movie review, but it's nice! (:

Then we met Fedora & B40! They were eating at the Japanese Restaurant.... Deleon, Zhiyi, Jiajia, Cheryl, Wynn. I told them I wanted to get a new bag, Deleon say don't get Dickies cos they're so used by everyone, so we (J & N) decided to go Far East to get East Pak.

Walked everywhere, didn't find East Pak, but found an Ah Neh called Sahai. He has some dinner & dance with his army camp???? Imagine a group of army men dancing together? That's sooooooo weeeeird.

Saw Nigel Lim, he said Heeren has East Pak. So we bused down to Heeren. BUT NO NICE DESIGNS. Sad ttm!

So in conclusion, we spent less than 2 hours meeting all these people and doing the things we did.

Today we had some Adam Khoo people came to teach us how to up our EQ. I think my EQ quite high already eh.. I can make people laugh, should be quite high EQ. Haha.

Jamie Loh is stressed over exams, so I'm supposed to make her laugh at this post to de-stress. Problem is, today Sinfei and Gonghua were quite normal! Not enough LB stories to blog!

Okay... Today we had the 1st CG of the year. And we found out that B2 is made up of twins!

Even the clothes look similar! Hahahahahaa.

CSR took a long time to find her wallet. So long until I could stare at her, had a brilliant idea, take my phone out, unlock the keypad, wait for the camera to load, and take a photo...

Gonghua was super sweet. During her 1 month in China, she wrote many journal entries. Just that instead of starting with "Dear Diary", it started with "Hi Nadine!" And each letter decribes her funny and emo and lonely days in Shanghai. Let me show you one:

You know exams' over when suddenly the blog isn't flooded with posts, and the Facebook status is not updated every other hour.

Today I finally tasted freedom. It feels sooooooooo good! I just finished my first ever testimony, and it looks good! Haha. It's amazing what God can go to someone!

There's CG this week and I'm looking forward to it! So long since we had the last one.

I went back to school and the toilet was transformed:

I did BM today!! (: Us and our very funny BM supervisor!

I was about to take a break from studying when.. A fly flew past me! In my air-conditioned room! So I spent the next 20 secs piak-ing it. Then I gave up and decided to blog instead.

Today there were 3 people that simply made me go ???

1. Tan Gong Hua

During BM today (true story), Jun Jie asked her to pour water over the toilet bowl. But Gong was too strong and in the end...

2. Prophet Marcus

Over the MSN he asked me if I was free, I was like okaay. Then I thought it's sth super serious. Then he said, "I got a chinese compo today, I don't know how to write and the title is An Unhappy Incident". -.-

So I went....

"It's your birthday tmr. Then your best friend asked everyone go to his house tmr and didn't ask you. You were very angry, and you scolded him. The next day you found out that he's actually planning a birthday surprise for you! But you were no longer friends alr."

It's a super unhappy incident.

But he replied, "Okay, but I think it'll be better if I'm the friend instead."

Wa lao! Want to say that he's very nice and good. Best thing is, in the end became his PARENTS planned a party for him. Where'd my original idea go??

Sometimes things just take you by surprise. They come too fast, that you don't even know how you should feel, think, react.. But only when these things happen, then you being to see life in a different perspective.

Life is so short. 80 years may seem long, but come to think of it, 2008 passed so quickly, nearly a week of 2009 has already passed. And the past 17 years has been a quick blur. Just like that. 17 out of my maybe 80 years on Earth gone.

And how about people around us? Family, friends.. Sometimes I think I take them for granted. Especially in church, when friends seem to be forever. We talk about the future, we talk about when we hit 3000.. About our first building, about our future families.. About our zones growing, about what we want to do in life. But we hardly talk about the now. The now where having the same group of friends around you is a blessing.

Look towards the future, but cherish the present.

Attack life, so you can look back and tell yourself, "I have lived life to the fullest."

Many thoughts, many emotions.

I've talked to God, talked to my leader.

My next best therapy is writing (:

A day at the hospital!

Today was awesomeeeeeee! First service of the year, and Pst Lia preached! Pst Lia always have this "aura" around her.. She excites you, she inspires you.

I love this statement mannnn!

Discipleship classes with Pastors have always been something all of us always look forward too! Pastors would always share their thoughts to us, by being so transparent, straight to the point with us.. It's amazing how they can just trust us so much. Trusting us that we would not just blab to someone something very personal that they've shared with us. But well, they are our Pastors! Only they can do something like this! I'm so glad that among all the hundreds and thousands of churches out there, God chose to put me in hoGc, a place where I can call home, and a place where youths can make a difference (:

Okay! Yesterday was A DAY AT THE HOSPITAL with Candy, Sinfei and Pearlene! Actually if you minus all the PO stuff, Candy's dad is actually a very nice guy. Nvm, we shall all spiritually adopt him!! (:

Once we reached there, the man was like "Do you need a wheelchair?" Candy immediately refused. But too bad, 3 is more powerful than 1, that's why the Bible says when 2 or more are gathered together, then God's there! HAHA. So we said "YES YES SHE NEEDS!"

(Sorry for the orientation. I couldn't find the rotate thingy in Macbook!)

We found out a deep dark secret about Candy. She says actually no need the bandage, but she bandaged so that it can look more serious -.- otherwise people will think that she's overreacting by using crutches.

This is her disgusting wound. Guess how many stitches is this? ONLY ONE. And noticed the blueish-purple string? It goes in one corner, right through the flesh under her skin, and comes out the other side! So the doctor will cut one side, and slowly draw it out.... YUCKS.

Disclaimer: Candy wants me to write that her leg is usually not so black and ugly, it's the wound (:

Lesson learnt: waiting time at hospital is very long. We were there from 2pm to 6pm. So we had to find some way to entertain ourselves.

Anyone wants to join along? Her next visit is 9 Jan, Friday, 3pm.

Btw, Sinfei's current dream is to stay in SGH for 3D2N.

She wants to experience the nurses serving her etc. BUT, she wants to be conscious, without having to go thru an operation, OR a drip OR blood tests OR injections.

So far we cannot think of any sickness that can allow her to be hospitalised without meeting any of the above-mentioned criteria.

We suspect they were separated at birth due to several facts:

1. They are both Shanghainese.

2. Both their Shanghainese grandfathers are communists.

3. Both their Shanghainese grandmothers are dead.

4. Both their Shanghainese uncles had a sudden death.

5. They are both 19 years old this year.

6. They are both born in the Year of the Horse.

Here are some other reasons:

1. They both have the funny genes.

2. Small eyes anyone?

3. Both are retainees of junior colleges.

4. Both come for single sex schools (Gonghua: St Nicls, JJ: Cat High)

Oh, but there's a distinct difference - Gonghua is weird and JJ is not (:

So please decide for yourself if they are really twins separated at birth. The distinct difference should be a great clue (:

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (sounds cliche, ha)

This is a very important post because it is the FIRST POST OF THE YEAR!

Last year was good. I grew so much man.. I was looking through my old Christmas cards and I saw one that Ivan wrote me in 2007! At that time I was just a leader of 4? 5? He wrote something very powerful:

"This 08, we have to fill the gap, take up our cross, carry it on our back, not around our neck..."

Powerful right! And I am proud to say that I did it.. I filled the gap, and took up our cross. I didn't carry it around my neck, but on my back.

It's so funny... At the start of 2008, Sinfei and Gonghua were just twins bouncing around everywhere, but now they're both leaders of teams that are breaking through every week; Candy was still going her major PO, but now she's doing so so so much in church; Chew and I were still in the same CG, but now we're like separated lovers (haha); I didn't know what school I will go into.... It's amazing how things just change so much in 1 year.

OH YA! IN 2007, ONLY RU HAD BRACES! Now there's me, Sinfei, Gonghua, Leonard... We are the happe braces family!

I believe that 2009 is going to be so so so so great. As I'm writing this down now, I can imagine on 1 Jan 2010, I am going to declare how I conquered A levels this year! Hahahaha.

Back to yesterday's countdown!

I was wearing BRIGHT PINK! And when is this so?

Because I was supposed to meet Jamie Loh at the Christmas tree at 10pm in PINK! Jamie came last Sunday but I was not there for service, so we were like thos penpals cum matchmaking service victims. So I was standing at the tree there in great suspension, then someone tapped me, I turned around... AND I SAW GONG HUA. Spoil my surprise sia!!! Then Jamie just kept laughing at me! Haha.

"Uncle of the Year - 2008" - GABRIEL TOH. I went to buy a can of soft drink for $1. He laughed at me and showed me what he bought for $1 - a 2.5 litres of mineral water. I nearly fainted. The things that Uncle Gabriel will do just to be uncle...

Then after the whole thing at about... 3am? We were helping Jia Yan to split -.- Gonghua was like some psycho trainer, and forcing her to split. But it was good for her!! Fierce dance teachers are the best!

What else, hmm let me think....

Oh ya! Must declare my LANG BEI story!!!!!!!

I left church together with Jia Yan & Debbie, and I took the opposite side. So I was like showing off to Debbie, "Now it's 7.40am, I will reach Kallang by 7.45am, change to a bus, then reach Boon Keng MRT by 7.50am (only 2 stops), and then I can walk home and reach home by 8am!"

Lesson learnt - don't ever show off.

I reached Kallang MRT by 7.45am, saw 961, and RAN FOR IT. Then after 2 stops, I was near a bridge, and I realise that I took the wrong bus. I alighted. And luckily I am street-smart, and intelligent, and am a morning person, so I crossed several roads to another bus stop where I can bus home. SMART RIGHT. Yeah, I am so proud of myself too. So in the end I reached home at 8.30am -.-

Oh well, at least I didn't cab home! Maybe it was a temptation sent by God and I passed it!

I just came out of a scary and funny MSN convo.

A good end to 2008, now we're all so geared up for 2009!

Fedora and I are talking online now, about 2008 and 2009.

At the start of the year we were just leading like 3-4 people... Only concentrating on our lives, our teams. Then God promoted us, and our lives have like a 180 degrees change man.

Fe and I have a close relationship together okayyyy, we went thru stuffs together, and came out strong together! Haha. We cried together (okay only me) and crapped together. It's all nice (:

Me: I am blogging about you now

Fe: I am so honoured, you know my blog's like dead already

Me: I thought it has weeds on the grave already

Fe: The grave even has flowers. And I dunno. Anthill.

On a separate note, yesterday I had a great time talking to Deng Huiiiiiii at the Al Fresco. Then Uncle Goh came so we talked to him too! Huimin went to wash her hospi stuffs, so I started interviewing Uncle Goh on how he met Aunty Lilian, how they became together, how he proposed... It was super super funny. Until Huimin and Ru also joined in.

Then the adult Jack came too! So I asked him how he proposed to Cheryl... SUPER ROMANTIC CAN! Everytime he say something, me and Ru will "oh my gosh, so sweeeeeet", then Jack was like" But I haven't say anything yet!" HAHAHA

Nelsis is an amazing person. I love talking to him and having him in church with us! I am talking to him on MSN about some deep stuffs.... Haha.

Can't wait for 2009!

Sinfei and I are going back to Nan Chiau on Friday. Going there to study AKA meet the sec 1s! We plan to invite all the bimbotic ah lians cos they'll be so happy that seniors are talking to them, then surely come to church! Yes, that's our plan!

1) TRANSPORTATION :
It is advised that you come to work driving a car according to your salary.
a) If we see you driving a Honda, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore you do not need a raise.
b) If you drive a 10 year old car or taking public transportation, we assume you must have lots of savings therefore you do not need a raise.
c) If you drive a Pickup, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise.

2) ANNUAL LEAVE:
a) Each employee will receive 52 Annual Leave days a year (Wow! said 1 employee).- They are called SUNDAYs .

3) LUNCH BREAK:
a) Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.
b) Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.
c) Fat people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim Fast and take a diet pill.

4) SICK DAYS :
We will no longer accept a doctor Medical Cert as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

5) TOILET USE:
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilets.
a) There is now a strict 3-minute time limit in the cubicles.
b) At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the door will open and a picture will be taken.
c) After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the 'Chronic Offenders' category.
d) Subsequent pictures will be sold at public auctions to raise money to pay your salary.

Okay it's time to update the blog before Santa Claus is coming to town~

Tmr is gonna be exciting as the whole cg's going to go xmas shopping tgt!! I haven't gotten any cards or presents at all, GG. After that I'm going to Sam's house for Christmas dinner!! I miss going to her house man. I am so going to bounce on her sofa, ransack her fridge, and hug her big carebear tmr :D

A quick update on what has been happening:

1. My room had a makeover. After 12 years, I finally get to change my furniture.

2. Church choir came to carol at my house! Minghan the "aunty killer" officially took over Yee Siong's position and "killed" my mum. HAHA

3. My cousin-in-law just gave birth, and my latest niece is called LOEWE. Come on, where on earth will parents name their child after a brand??? And my uncle can't pronounce so he calls his granddaughter LORRY. I am going to call my daughter Prada, and my son Vottega (some weird brand that my mum gave me).

4. Watched Twilight with 30 other people yesterday, caught the 11.20pm show. We took the entire C section (if you know what I mean), rows A to G. There were 3 unfortunate couples sandwiched between us.

5. OCK started a new cg called the HU1, the Huh CG. He is talking to me on msn now, and excitedlly sharing how his cg has broken through 6. Well done

MOST HAPPENING THING IS CHRISTMAS!!!

Hahahahahahahahhaha. I laughed out loud when I read it. Pearlene hasn't pack her luggage so she decided to pretend that she has fallen asleep and didn't read the msg. Then pack tonight and call her aunt tmr that she has done it alr. BUT. Her aunt called her! Hahah, smart aunt. Thus she confessed her sins. Lol.

Life has been great. God speaks, I listen. I speak, God listens too. Great life because of a great God.

Was listening to Built to Last by Pst Tan. An American senator visited Mother Theresa in the slums where she had her ministry. She ran a hospice area, where basically kids about to die go there and rest, then she will minister to them. The senator couldn't take the sadness there and asked Mother Theresa, "How can you bear all this burden all by yourself? Isn't it too much to bear?" But she said, "I was not called to be successful. I was called to be faithful."

When I heard that it really impacted me. How I, also, am not called to be successful, but just to be faithful in the small things that God has entrusted me with (: Focus on the right things and you will grow (:

Youth M.A.D - Youth Making.A.Difference

Asia Conference was phenomenal, C3 band was awesome.

But the best part was definitely the last part of the service!

You could totally feel Pastor's heart for the youths, how his heart wrecks for them.. I was convicted, and I've already told Mae Ann that I want to help out!

Who knows whose life will we be impacting? It could be the next manager, next housewife.. But it can also be the future President or Prime Minister of Singapore! Think of all the lives we are going to change...

Who says youths are irresponsible for our society? Sometimes I think youths are even more kan chiong than the adults. The adults are like, it has been like this since forever, so let's just keep it this way. But we are really mad about M.A.D out there in the world!

On a side note, we were talking to CHC CCH people and it was quite funny...

CCH: Oh why are you taken out of Usher Ministry?

Chew: Cos she's a CGL already mah.

CCH: (Stares at me in amazement) You mean you are a CGL already? So young?

CCH 2: (Starts explaining all our church is made up of youths)

Man at the time I was so proud of our church, I was like shining and thinking to myself, "Yeah yeah be amazed, and you haven't even seen Wayne or Lim Jia Xin or even Wei Zhe yet!" Our church is truly unique, a prototype church for generations to come.

It's been eternity since I last blogged. Haha.

Had a really great time last week, especially Thursday when we all WANTED to go to Sentosa! However it rained the whole day so we just stayed at Vivo instead. Vivo had sun, water.. It's just like Sentosa minus the dirty seawater and sand and expensive stuffs. We even saved on the entrance fee! We concluded that the next time we want to go to Sentosa, we shall just stay in Vivo instead.

Jerome Chong, Jerome Ng, Darius, James, Gabriel... These people are COOL TTM! It was so fun playing in the water and just going wild with them! Eps Jerome Ng... He may seem fierce but all you need to do is tickle him and he runs away. Is he funny? MAYBE. Haha (Inside joke)

Okay I forgot all about Chiu Shao Rou! We went studying with her on Tuesday and we were supposed to meet at 11am in church. She stays at Kallang. At 10.30am, she smsed me and told me she overslept. Okay fine, I told her to eat breakfast before coming otherwise she'll faint.

When I said "eat breakfast", I meant "grab a sandwich". To her it meant "have a continental breakfast with crossiants and orange juice". So I was studying there miserably like some emo kid for more than an hour... And she really looks like Pocahantas! Remind me to show you this weekend!

8th Wonder of the World

Yesterday was a super powerful combined service (:

The presence of God was so strong, once more making me so grateful that out of all the churches in Singapore, God chose to put me in Heart of God Church!

I can still remember the exact scenario when I was in 7-11, and suddenly someone txted me, and asked me whether I want to go to Heart of God Church. It was her first time there and she immediately invited me the next day. She said the "rock music is very nice". Haha.

Well our music is DUH BEST! 41st Day!!! Pst Lia totally rocked the house. Haha

Just to let you know how good I was as a new friend:

1. I wasn't late! But I was on time, so not very good either (must be 15 mins earlier!). Haha.

2. I sang during P&W.

3. I TOOK NOTES. YES I BROUGHT MY OWN BIBLE & NOTEBOOK ON THE FIRST DAY.

4. Aft service, I told them I was coming back next week.

5. I was afraid of Chew and her gold hair. HAHA

Now I finally know what is the motive for the VP wanting to meet me and my mum.

To inspire me? In a way maybe yes? Cos I really want to promote.

To scare me? Nah, not at all.

TO SCARE MY MUM? DEFINITELY YES.

Meeting the parents session is all about inflicting fear in your parents' hearts. (Yeah it was a big revelation to me too.)

Before that my mum trusted me to study on my own, now we have a habitual conversation that happens everyday...

Mum: Did you study today?

Me: Yeah / A bit / No

Mum: Can you make sure you study a not?

Me: Yeah

Mum: If you are not worried, I am you know.

Me: Yeah

Mum: Everyday go out.... (which I dont! Tone down already!)

Me: Yeah

Mum: Can you start studying already?

Me: Yeah

And it goes on.

See, when you parents nag at you, they're just trying to pour out all the discomforts in their heart. As filial children, it is our duty to let them nag at us. If they don't nag at us, who else can they nag at?

And if they say "Are you listening to me a not?" Very easy. Just change all your "Yeah" to "Yup", "Yah", (ALL STARTS WITH Ys!) "Okay"... The key is to vary your tone and really make it seem as if you're listening and serious about it.

Conclusion: It's a chain reaction.

Okay today I woke up at 645am.

Reached school at 815am.

Supposed to have a PW rehearsal at 930am, but the teacher cancelled it at 9am!

Woah waste my time! Luckily there's Mac and this is what we did:

Okay I'm having a conference with Shuxian and Sinfei now and Sinfei's brushing her teeth, and Shuxian is talking to her soft toys.

SX: Hi Mr Bear, how are you today?

Bear: Very fine.

Okay this is not made up, it really happened you can find Shuxian on Saturday and ask her. HAHAHA.

And now Sinfei's trying to persuade Shuxian to tell her her blog add.

Shuxian says it's BULLYING HER. Please take note. Gao xiao. (Only 3 of us will understand.)
